The Bond Boot Company of California was one of America's premier riding boot manufacturers, which suddenly went out of business when the owner died in the 1990's.  Their boots were made of the highest quality English leather and were considered virtually indestructible.  The brand name was bought and riding boots in the company's Effingham style continue to be sold today, but are not considered to have the durability of the original Bond boots.  New versions of Bond boots retail today for over 0.
This is a pair of Bond riding boots in the Effingham style purchased for our daughter in the 1990's, before the company closed.  These boots are in mint condition.  They have the following features:

: 18-1/2 inches from the back of the heel to the top of the boot at the back.
Circumference:
Around the ankle: 12"
At the middle of the boot (widest area): 15"
At the top of the boot: 14-1/2"
Heel:
Quality Goodyear rubber, a feature of original Bond boots.
Style:
Effingham lace-up riding boots for beginners or experienced riders, used for all manner of equestrian activities (leisure riding, practice, jumping, dressage, show, etc.)
Condition:
These boots were a gift to our daughter but did not fit her.  They have never been worn, and we have had them ever since in a closet.  We no longer have the original box.
