German Riding boots sz 11 ( 45 cm wide calf )

Description

Selling a pair of  wide calf  German  leather boots in unworn  condition , never worn condition in a size 11  USA mens size or a (( 10.5 German size or 45  )) ..The boots are very nice and the leather is still supple and has a beautiful gloss finish to them,,the upper shafts are medium flexible or bendable not stiff but they do not slouch or fall down ,they stand upright on their own,,the soles are made in leather and the heels are made in rubber..The boots are made in all leather but for the rubber heel pads. The boots have not been worn but they do have some scratches or scuffs ,,storage wear overall but as far as it goes the leather is in very beautiful shape..
The boots have a hard tip of the toes,,not steel toes but stiff leather ,,,the heel areas are also stiff but the feet of the boots are vry supple and soft and as stated the shafts are a medium stiffness,,,but too hard not too soft ...The inner shafts are lined in soft calf leather ...I see the date of manufacture which was 1988 as is stamped on the inside shafts .. I do not know the history of the boots other then they were purchased in Germany and may be Police or military officers boots ..
The soles of the boots are again made of leather and the soles are joined by welting or sewing the soles together,the soles then had a thin piece of leather glued to the soles which cover the outer soles ,,this thin leather plate you could say is very thin and only for show,,it serves no purpose but for looking pretty and covering the sewing thread and covering the leather soles ,,,so when you wear the boots after a few times of wearing this thin leather covering will be worn off and you will see the true soles and the thread or Goodyear Welting...The boots are marked with a 45 and are as boots go a WIDE CALF boot with 45 cm upper shafts and will fit a man with a large calf leg ... ...
