    Apple Macintosh Operating System The Darwin Collection a 4 CD-ROM Box Set Issue 1 from 2001 edited by Dr. Michael L Love, founder of the GNU-Darwin distro. Is it OS X? Is it FreeBSD Linux? It's complicated! Featuring the lovable Hexley the Platypus. This is from the last days of CD-ROMs when it was still a convenient medium for larger software downloads (and bootstrapping). Gently used beautiful condition in original case with booklet. A very rare item as not many have survived, selling this as a collectible historical object - not being sold for the software packages. This set includes all the source code, to comply with the GPL. A portion of the sale is being donated to the Free Software Foundation.
